چکیده
For the past few years, environmental degradation caused by discharge of heavy metals and organic contaminants has been a major source worry. Using natural adsorbent to tackle wastewater problems recently viewed as an environmentally friendly move that promotes sustainable development. Heavy have indeed reduced in aqueous solutions using variety methods, include adsorption surfaces agricultural residues. Lead is among most toxic common found industrial wastewater. In this research, adsorbents selected are moringa leaves, rice husk coconut fibers, which very low-cost materials, employed for lead exclusion from wastes. Thus, our study aims investigate ability bio-sorbents remove Pb2+ ions solutions. Contact time, concentration, adsorbent-based dosage pH were all evaluated important factors mechanism. The efficiency was discovered be dependent, rising solution increased ranges 2.5 6.5. After 120 min, equilibrium state reached, optimum removal rate obtained with 1.5 g loaded weight. capability lead-adsorbing materials estimated utilizing linear Freundlich Langmuir isotherms, experimental results fitting isotherm models.

Myxococcus xanthus biomass as biosorbent for lead.
This paper deals with lead biosorption by Myxococcus xanthus biomass in which dry biomass, accumulating up to 1.28 mmol of lead g(-1), is demonstrated to be a more efficient biosorbent than wet biomass. Dry biomass biosorption was found to be very rapid, reaching equilibrium after 5-10 min. Culture age, the initial lead concentration and pH affected this process, but temperature did not. Furthe...
متن کاملAdsorption of Lead from Aqueous Solution by Modified Beech Sawdust
Sawdust is now being investigated as an adsorbent to remove contaminants from aqueous solution. Heavy metals can be decreased very effectively with the organic material. In this research, adsorption of Pb (II) onto modified beech sawdust in a batch system was investigated. Sawdust was collected from timber mill of Qom, Iran, and modified with H2SO4 and NaOH. Then, the effe...
متن کاملAdsorption of Lead from Industrial Effluents using Rice Husk
Rice husk a very low cost material has been utilized as adsorbent for the removal of lead from industrial effluents. Adsorption studies have been carried out at 28°Cand the effect of initial lead concentrations (100-1000) mg/l, adsorbent dosage (0.05-1) g, pH (2-10) and contact time (10-180) min on lead uptake to establish a mathematical model description percentage removal of Pb (II). The infl...
متن کاملBiosorption of Cu(II) From Water by Banana Peel Based Biosorbent: Experiments and Models of Adsorption and Desorption
Banana peel, a discarded agricultural waste was used to produce bioadsorbent through easy and environmental friendly processes. This banana peel based biosorbent was evaluated for adsorptive removal of copper from water and its desorption capability. The characterisation results showed this biosorbent had very high specific surface area, potential binding sites and functional groups. The optima...
